Distt administration bids adieu to outgoing CPO Uttam Singh

KATHUA, Dec 2: The District Administration Kathua bid adieu to the outgoing Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Uttam Singh who has been transferred to Jammu District.
An impressive farewell function was held in the conference hall of the DC office complex wherein the officers and staff formally bid farewell to the outgoing CPO Kathua.
The Ceremony was attended by DC Kathua Rakesh Minhas, ADDC Kathua Ankur Mahajan, DC State Taxes Ranjeet Singh, PO ICDS Basharat Hussain, ADC Kathua Ranjeet Singh, ADC Billawar Vinay Khosla, RTO Kathua Sunil Kumar and other senior officers of the district.
Deputy Commissioner Kathua appreciated the outgoing CPO Kathua Uttam Singh for showing utmost dedication towards his duties which he said was a quintessential trait required for rendering the duties as Chief Planning Officer. He wished outgoing CPO Kathua best of luck and also prayed for his sound health and happiness for his future endeavours.
The other officers highlighted the contribution of CPO and hailed his working style.
Speakers in unison appreciated the calm and composure of Uttam Singh which he showed during tough situations. Besides, hailed him for maintaining good coordination with elected PRI representatives and departments in execution of development works.
Speaking on the occasion, Uttam Singh extended warm and affectionate gratitude to the Officers and staff of the district administration for extending unconditional support during his services in the district. He recalled some of the beautiful memories attached to his tenure and thanked officers and staff for organising a farewell party for him.
On the occasion, a warm welcome is also accorded to the new CPO Kathua Ranjit Thakur who took the charge today. Later mementos and gifts were presented to him.
