KALAKOTE, Dec 2: Government Degree College (GDC) Kalakote actively observed World AIDS Day on December 1, 2023, aiming to raise awareness about the spread of HIV/AIDS. The program, organized under the guidance of Principal Professor Dr. Seema Arora, sought to educate students about the importance of understanding and preventing this fatal and infectious disease.
The highlight of the event was a quiz competition designed to gauge students' knowledge of HIV/AIDS. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, reflecting their interest in learning about the disease and its prevention. In her closing remarks, Principal Dr. Seema Arora underscored the significance of World AIDS Day, emphasizing its role in dispelling myths and reducing stigma within the community.
