| Notorious drug peddler arrested under PIT NDPS by Gandhi Nagar Police | | |

Jammu, Dec 2: An information was received at PS Gandhi Nagar through reliable sources regarding one notorious Drug Peddler namely Hassan Khokhar @ Hassan S/o Sham Lal R/o Valmiki colony Gandhi Nagar.
On this a special police team of PS Gandhi Nagar led by SDPO South Sachit Sharma assisted by SHO PS Gandhi Nagar Inspr Pankaj Sharma raided at the suspected place and arrested the above said drug peddler.
It is pertinent to mention that the accused person was a notorious drug peddler and was involved in many cases of drug peddling and dealing in narcotics. Also a warrant of arrest vide Order No. PITNDPS 59 of 2023 Dated: 11.11.2023 was issued against the said accused by Divisional commissioner Jammu.
The arrest was made under the overall supervision of SP South Shaheen Wahid.
Finally today in compliance to the directions of Divisonal commissioner Jammu, under Prevention of Illicit Traffic of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act of 1988 (PITNDPS) the accused person has been arrested and shifted to District Jail Kathua. |
