Early Times Report KATHUA, Dec 12: The NSS unit of Government Degree College Marheen recently hosted an engaging Intra-College Group Discussion Competition centered around the theme of "Futuristic Prospectives of Indian Youth" under the banner of Viksit-Bharat @2047. The event, supervised by NSS Program Officer Prof. Arun Dev Singh, witnessed enthusiastic participation from two groups of NSS volunteers. The spirited discussions saw participants articulating their views, ideas, thoughts, and plans, focusing on the priorities of the youth in steering India to the forefront of global nations by 2047. Emphasizing the current standing of India as the 5th largest economy globally, the participants expressed aspirations to propel the nation to the top spot within the next two decades. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Anupam Gupta, the esteemed principal of Government Degree College Marheen, highlighted the Indian government's mission to instill the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth. Dr. Gupta motivated the students to generate innovative ideas and strategic plans, envisioning a future where India reclaims its position as a "Golden Sparrow" on the world stage. Encouraging confidence-building among the students, Dr. Gupta urged them to channel their enthusiasm towards making India progressive and prosperous. The event was graced by the presence of several faculty members, including Dr. Munisha, Dr. Shallu, Dr. Barneet, Dr. Rajni, Prof. Preeti, and Dr. Reemi, among others.
