Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reaches Block Marheen Bani

KATHUA, Dec 12: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) reached new milestones as the VBSY Van traversed through Marheen and Bani Panchayats.
The public outreach campaign touched Chak Gopala, Chak Bhagwana, Devochak, Haripur, Fatehpur, Sitti, Sandroon, Kardoh, Lahri, Banjal Bhatwal, Bhatodi, and Sadrota-A. The VBSY Van, a mobile unit carrying the essence of the development journey, screened a special video message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing his vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.
In the video message, Prime Minister Modi urged citizens to take a pledge to work collectively for the progress and prosperity of the country. The VBSY Van served as a platform for the people to connect with the Prime Minister's vision, fostering a sense of commitment and unity among the residents.
During the event, representatives of the line departments were present to explain the procedures for availing benefits of government schemes and programs aimed at public welfare. The attendees received informative pamphlets and brochures, and their queries were addressed by the departmental representatives.
One of the highlights of the event was the provision of free healthcare services under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, benefiting numerous attendees. In recognition of the vital contribution made by Progressive Farmers to the agriculture sector, they were given the platform to share their stories of transformation, encouraging further growth and innovation in farming practices.
The event was not just an informative gathering but a practical application of government initiatives, ensuring that the benefits reached those who needed them most.
Apart from these crucial activities, various departments took the opportunity to showcase their achievements and educate attendees about different schemes operating in their jurisdictions. The VBSY, known for its inclusive approach, drew massive participation from women, highlighting their active role in the development process.
