RAJOURI, Dec 21: Continuing its commitment to the transformative initiative "Voice of India - Viksit Bharat @ 2047," GDC Kalakote hosted an engaging session today on "Neuron-Oriented Curriculum in Education - A Pathway towards Viksit Bharat @ 2047." This session, part of an ongoing series, explored the innovative concept of the "Fitness Triangle," sparking a vibrant dialogue on the essential link between optimal brain development and a holistic approach to learning.
Guided by the esteemed Prof. Dr. Seema Arora, the College Principal, the series at GDC Kalakote aims to inspire the college community. Today's session, led by Dr. Farooq Bakloo from the Political Science faculty, expertly delved into the "Fitness Triangle" framework. This dynamic model underscores the interconnectedness of a balanced diet, social engagement, and regular exercise, highlighting their crucial roles in nurturing healthy neural development and creating a conducive learning environment.
The insightful lecture, complemented by a poster-making competition, saw active participation from both faculty members and students. The competition not only enriched the collective understanding of this innovative educational paradigm but also showcased the creativity and enthusiasm of the college community.
Principal Prof. Dr. Seema Arora expressed her congratulations to the students and appreciated the efforts of the organizing committees. She acknowledged their dedication in instilling the idea of "Viksit Bharat" among the students, ensuring maximum registrations on the my.gov.in portal. This initiative is aligned with the broader goal of preparing students for the future, embracing a neuron-oriented curriculum that emphasizes holistic development and optimal brain functioning.
