SSP conducts SMAC meeting in DPL

UDHAMPUR, Dec 21: In order to work in coordinated and synergized manner by all security and intelligence agencies in the District, SSP Udhampur, Joginder Singh-JKPS today chaired a SMAC meeting in DPL Udhampur which was attended by officers of Police, CAPF and other sister intelligence agencies working in the District.
Officers from different forces and agencies including Sh. Varinder Datta Commandant STC BSF, Sh. Anwaar Ul Haq Addl. SP Udhampur, Lt. Col. Anant Bhagwat Hq 71 Sub Area, Sandeep Kotwal, DCIO IB, Shobha Rawat Dy. Commandant 137 Bn. S. Gurmeet Singh DySP Hqrs Udhampur, Sheikh Tahir SDPO Chenani, Vishal Manhas SDPO Ramnagar, Shahied Nahiem DySP DAR DPL Udhampur, Ashish Gupta DySP SKPA Udhampur, J.K. Kundal ASC/RPF Udhampur, Sh. Anil Sagar DYSP CID CI Udhampur, Parshotam Kumar Insp. CID SB Udhampur, Sukhdev Raj DySP Katra, Insp. Mashkoor Ahmed, Insp. Tribhuwan ITBP, Insp. Nishad Ahmed DSB Udhampur.
In the meeting, all the officers and intelligence agencies shared their views, suggestions and assessment on the present security scenario of the District.
A threadbare discussion was held in the meeting on the present security situation and other aspects related to security and various suggestions, measures and strategies were taken to put in place a joint and effective mechanism for efficient monitoring and security surveillance on ground i.e effective area domination, surveillance on anti-social elements, social media monitoring and other measures so that mischievous persons and rumor mongers may not succeed to create any communal tension and peaceful atmosphere of the District may not get disturbed.
SSP Udhampur highlighted the forthcoming events which require synergy and advised the officers to work in coordinated and synergized manner so that all the security agencies in the District are on same page to handle any kind of situation effectively on ground.
Meeting ended on a note of better coordination and cooperation among all the agencies.
