agencies NEW DELHI, Jan 1: Three-Day 25th Annual NOSPlan Convention of National Association of Students of Planning concluded on December 31, 2023. More than 650 delegates from 15 Planning Instotutes of India attended the Convention, which was organised by Guru Ramdas School of Planning. Nearly 20 competitive academic, cultural, and sports events were organised. School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi lifted the overall trophy, while School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal, and School of Planning and Architecture, Vijaywada remained first and second runner ups respectively. Prof. Dr. Bikramjit Singh Bajwa, Dean Academic Affairs, the chief guest of the evening, distributed the prizes to the winners. In his address, he stressed on participating in events regularly to improve knowledge, develop skills, and make friends. He encouraged the students to come forward and become nation builders. Kanishka Mahendru, the Convention Officer, thanked the chief guest and the delegates for making the Convention a grand success. She thanked the Worthy Vice-chancellor for permitting the students of Guru Ramdas School of Planning to organize the Convention. She also thanked Prof Ashwani Luthra, Head, and other faculty of the Department for extending whole hearted support in the successful completion of the Convention. |
