JAMMU, Jan 3: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Wednesday said that Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth guru of Sikhs symbolizes Chardi Kala and righteousness as he relentlessly continued crusade for his mission and with his indefatigable spirit tread on the path of Dharma.
The senior BJP leader said this after participating in the Nagar Kirtan being taken out in Jammu In connection with the Parkash Utsav of Guru Gobind Singh ji. He also felicitated the Panj Payaras and later distributed eatables among the participants of Nagar Kirtan during the stall organized by Sanjay Nagar traders and BJP workers.
Kavinder Gupta, while extending heartfelt greetings to the people on the eve of Gurpurab, emphasized the profound teachings of Guru Gobind Singh. He highlighted the essential motto of the tenth Sikh Guru, encapsulated in the powerful message, 'manas ki jaat sab ek hi pahnchanbo'-signifying that all of humankind shares one common identity.
Gupta underscored Guru Gobind Singh's pivotal message of social equality, emphasizing that the revered Guru sacrificed not only his father, Guru Tegh Bahadur, but also his four sons for a righteous cause. This selfless act led to Guru Gobind Singh being revered as Sarbansdani.
The BJP leader passionately conveyed that in the current socio-political landscape, there is a pressing need for every Indian to imbibe and follow the timeless teachings of Guru Gobind Singh. Gupta urged fellow citizens to contribute to the nation in whatever way and capacity they can, aligning their actions with the spirit of social harmony, justice, and the collective welfare advocated by the revered Guru.
The former deputy Chief Minister appealed to the citizens to uphold and strengthen communal harmony in the diverse fabric of the union territory. Emphasizing the importance of unity in diversity, he urged people from all walks of life, irrespective of caste, creed, or religion, to come together in a spirit of understanding and mutual respect.
Kavinder underscored that maintaining communal harmony is not just a responsibility but a shared commitment that enriches the social tapestry of our nation. He encouraged individuals to engage in dialogue, foster goodwill, and celebrate the common values that bind us as a society. In doing so, he believed that we could collectively contribute to the realization of Guru Gobind Singh's vision of a harmonious and inclusive society for the betterment of the nation.
