| 05 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by Jammu Police. | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 3: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Nagrota, P Pounichak, PP Sidhra and PP Chatha acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 05 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
One tractor trolley without Registration No by PS Nagrota
Two tractor trollies without Registration Nos by Pounichak
One Dumper bearing Registration no JK21F- 8256, by PP Sidhra
One tipper without Registration No, by PP Chatha
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Nagrota, I/C PP Pounichak, I/C PP Sidhra and I/C PP Chatha in their respective jurisdiction.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon’ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
