UDHAMPUR, Jan 6: Udhampur Police apprehended 05 bovine smugglers, rescued 56 cattles and seized 05 vehicles used for bovine smuggling during last one week.
Team of PS Udhampur apprehended 02 vehicles bearing regd. No. JK02CS 4092 and JK19A 2075 and rescued 22 bovines from the cluthes of 03 bovine smugglers namely Khalid Ahmed S/O Mohd. Iqbal R/O Anantnag, Mohd. Nazir S/O Ghulam Mohd. R/O R.S Pura and 3rd accussed person fled away from spot (taking bovines by foot). In this regards, 03 cases FIR No. 01/2024, 02/2024 and 03/2024 U/S 188 IPC stand registered in PS Chenani.
In another case of bovine smuggling, team of Police Station Udhampur, apprehnded 03 bovine smugglers alongwith 34 bovines loaded in 03 vehicles bearing registration no. JK02DD 7950, JK14B 8523 and JK02K 2835 from Jakhani naka point, Udhampur. 03 Accused persons namely Reham Ali S/O Mirza R/O Janipur, Jammu, Asghar Ali S/O Mohd. Shafi R/O Jakti, Nagrota and Liakat Ali S/O Noor Mohd. R/O Ramban got arrested.
In this regard, FIR No. 01/2024, 06/2024 and 07/2024 U/S 188 IPC stand registered in PS Udhampur. |
