KISHTWAR, Jan 6: In a relentless pursuit to eradicate the menace of illicit liquor trade, Kishtwar Police apprehending 0ne more notorious bootlegger and seized 39 bottles of JK Desi Whiskey. Police party from PS Kishtwar, led by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, during routine patrolling and naka checking. Naka party arrested 0ne person, during checking 39 bottles of illicit JK Desi Whiskey were recovered from his possession. The accused, identified as Tariq Hussain, S/o Mohd Abas, and a resident of Link Road Kishtwar. In this regard case, FIR No. 09/2024 U/sec. 48(a) Excise Act, registered at PS Kishtwar, and the investigation taken up. |
