Cong will soon become mere history: Kavinder
1/6/2024 10:37:37 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 6: Kavinder Gupta, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Dy CM has slammed the former Union Minister and senior All India Congress Committee (AICC) leader and Incharge Jammu and Kashmir affairs, Bharat Singh Solanki for his statement that wave of change is blowing in the country and the people have made up their mind to throw out BJP during 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
While reacting strongly to the Congress leader's remarks, Kavinder pooh-poohed him saying that Congress leaders are living in a fools' paradise and are day dreaming about the impossible. He said that all the Congress leaders including Solanki must realize and acknowledge the fact that Congress party is heading to be consigned to the pages of history very soon. He said that this is inevitable in view of the misdeeds of this party and its leaders while ruling the nation. He said that the people today know very well that Congress leaders put their vested interests on top priority least bothering about the nation and its people. He said that no pre-poll seat sharing arrangement is going to avert Congress defeat in J&K.
The BJP leader expressed this while speaking the meeting held here today.
Kavinder Gupta, while expressing concern over former President Ramnath Kovind's initiative to invite suggestions on 'One Nation One Election' from the stakeholders, favoured not only the concept but also the move to seek suggestions. It is pertinent to mention that Kovind heads the Committee constituted regarding the 'One Nation One Election' issue.
The senior BJP leader, while informing that the Home Minister Amit Shah is visiting Jammu on coming January 9, appealed to the people of Jammu to participate in large numbers to welcome the great leader who along with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi achieved the great feat of showing the door to Articles 370 and 35A of the Constitution. He also asked them to attend the rally in large numbers.
Kavinder asserted that this landmark decision has done away with the discrimination meted out many people including the Pak Refugees, the underprivileged and others who formed a substantial percentage of the people in J&K and remained deprived of even some basic rights for about seven decades.
