Early Times Report

KISHTWAR, Jan 7: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, accompanied by DDC member Paddar Hari Krishan Chauhan local PRIs and district and sectoral officers actively participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held at Gulabgarh today.
The Yatra, marked by its emphasis on progress and development, garnered participation from 400 individuals residing in adjoining areas.
The Yatra commenced with Viksit Bharat Sankalp (pledge) and followed by IEC Van reaching the location and screening of an enlightening message from the Prime Minister, engaging the attendees on key aspects of national development initiatives.
An enlightening feature of the event was the platform 'Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,' where beneficiaries shared their success stories, embodying the transformative impact of various schemes. Their testimonials highlighted the tangible benefits received, echoing the success of implemented programs.
To ensure direct accessibility, stalls were set up by Agriculture and allied sectors besides other departments, offering on-the-spot services to the participants. These stalls not only facilitated interactions but also received and processed 100 filled-in Kisan Credit Card (KCC) application forms, demonstrating the proactive engagement of agriculture field functionaries. The journey was enriched with various departmental stalls strategically positioned along the route, effectively disseminating leaflets, printed material, and booklets elucidating citizen-centric schemes. This initiative aimed at enlightening the public about government offerings, ensuring easy access to pertinent information on schemes designed for their welfare. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav emphasized the importance of such collective endeavors in fostering community development. He lauded the active participation of attendees and the valuable contributions made by the departments and field functionaries in making the event informative and fruitful.
