| 06 grams of heroin recovered by Bishnah Police | | |

Jammu, Jan 17: Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 06 grams of heroin from one accused person in the area under the jurisdiction of PS Bishnah.
A police team of PS Bishnah led by SHO PS Bishnah while on naka duty at Sikanderpur Kothey area under the jurisdiction of PS Bishnah rounded up a suspected person later identified as Lakath Ali @Gajja s/o Hussain Mir R/o Sikanderpur Kothey, Tehsil Bishnah Distt.Jammu. On search, 06 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
In this regard a Case FIR No.07/2024 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act got registered in PS Bishnah and the accused got arrested.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain.
