Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Jan 29: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Udhampur orchestrated an engaging interaction session on "Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024," providing students and teachers with valuable insights. The program, held in the college's conference hall under the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta, aimed to alleviate stress and anxiety associated with upcoming examinations. The 7th edition of "Pariksha Pe Charcha" was live telecasted across various educational institutions, including GDC Udhampur, from the town hall at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. "Pariksha Pe Charcha" is an annual initiative led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, fostering an environment where the unique individuality of each student is celebrated, encouraged, and allowed to express itself fully. The session, organized by NSS PO Prof. Sanjeet Singh, sought to create a platform for students, parents, teachers, and society to collectively address the challenges faced by students during examinations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address during the event emphasized setting small goals, striving to achieve them, the significance of regular writing practice, and the importance of healthy competition as an inspiration in life. The Prime Minister encouraged students to set achievable goals and highlighted the significance of regular writing practice for exam preparation. Stressing the importance of healthy competition, PM Modi recommended a few minutes of deep breathing exercises to reduce nervousness before exams. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed faculty members, including Prof. Babu Lal Thakur, Prof. Mohinder Pal, Prof. Suresh Kumar Dogra, Prof. Rajni Kumari, Prof. Shivi Mehra, Prof. (Dr.) Jagjeet Singh, Prof. Sanjeet Singh, Prof. Anoksha Sharma, and other staff members.
