Baramulla, Jan 29: Jammu and Kashmir Police have booked two persons under the Public Safety Act in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district for their alleged involvement in anti-national activities. The duo were shifted to Kotbhalwal Jail Jammu.
Police identified the accused as Fayaz Ahmad Kumar alias Narshima of Khanpora Baramulla and Safeer Ahmad Bhat alias Safeer Molvi of Janbazpora Baramulla.
It said that several cases were lodged against them who didn’t mend their ways and continued to be a threat to the law and order.
Both the persons were arrested and booked under PSA after getting formal detention orders from the competent authority, the Police said adding that they were involved in anti-national and anti-social activities. |
