Early Times Report BARAMULLAH, Feb 16: National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) in collaboration with School Education department Baramulla today held a day-long event at Govt. Boys' Higher Secondary School Baramulla to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 7th edition of envisaged program, 'Pariksha Pe Charcha 6.0'. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa was the chief guest on the occasion. The event was attended by CEO Baramulla, Balbir Singh Raina, Deputy CEO, HoD DIET, representative from NCPCR, teachers, parents and school children. During his address, the DC emphasized the crucial role that both teachers and parents play in creating a supportive and stress-free environment for students as they prepare for their upcoming exams. Minga Sherpa further urged parents to relinquish the burdensome "make it or break it" mentality regarding their children's exam results and encouraged them to view this period as an opportunity for their wards to learn and develop regardless of the outcome. The CEO highlighted that under the guidance of DC Baramulla, the Education department has been conducting Pariksha Pe Charcha Programs across the five sub-divisions, zones, and cluster heads of the district to promote a stress free environment for the students appearing in the exams. Meanwhile, representative from NCPCR discussed in length about Exam Warriors, a book by PM, Narendra Modi aiming to empower students with the tools and strategies to navigate the exam season with confidence, resilience, and a sense of purpose, ultimately shaping them into well-rounded individuals capable of facing life's challenges with grace and determination. It is worth mentioning here that 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' is a nationwide program started by the PM in 2018 to create a stress free atmosphere for students appearing in the yearly board exams. The PM held an interactive session with the students across the country on 29th of January.
