Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 18: Today, Surjeet Singh and Vinay Gupta, Vice Presidents of the Gandhi Nagar Mandal, along with Rachit Khosla, General Secretary of the Gandhi Nagar Mandal, Aman Goswami, Booth Presidents, Jagit Singh, and their team, organized a camp at Ward No. 44 in Nanak Nagar, Jammu, to promote the Vishkarma scheme initiated by the BJP-led government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. The camp witnessed a large turnout of people eager to avail the benefits offered by the Vishkarma scheme by submitting their forms online. This scheme, designed to support small employees and skilled craftsmen, provides cash assistance along with training, skill advice, and modern techniques to enhance their expertise. The scheme particularly benefits individuals engaged in traditional trades such as washermen, barbers, goldsmiths, bricklayers, and metalworkers. By offering financial support and training, the scheme aims to uplift skilled craftsmen who may be facing challenges in their respective trades. I extend my sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated team from Ward 44, Nanak Nagar, who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth functioning and success of this campaign. Their dedication and enthusiasm played a crucial role in making this initiative a resounding success. |
