Bovine smuggling attempts foiled, 13 bovines rescued

UDHAMPUR, Mar 1: Police rescued 13 Bovines and seized vehicle used for bovine smuggling.
Police team of Police Post Tikri led by Insp. Nishad Ahmed and assisted by PSI Sahil Singh foiled bovine smuggling bid in which 13 bovines were rescued and a vehicles (truck) bearing registration number JK02AF 7527 seized from Tikri nakapoint. Accused person namely Talib Hussain S/O Showkat Ali R/O Larnoo, Anantnag got arrested on spot.
In this regard, a case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Rehambal and further investigation of the case is underway.
