The activities commenced with a lecture on the menace of corruption delivered by the esteemed Principal, Dr. Ashu Vashisht, on Teachers' Day. This session provided valuable insights into the detrimental effects of corruption on society.
On September 6, 2023, a poster-making competition was organized on the theme "Say NO to Corruption," wherein students actively participated and used their creativity to spread awareness against corruption through their artwork.
Subsequently, on September 8, 2023, an "Anti-Corruption" pledge-taking ceremony was conducted in collaboration with the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) under the guidance of Dr. Ashu Vashisht, Principal of the college. This event aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and commitment among students towards combating corruption.
The culmination of the "Bhrashtachar Mukt J&K" week occurred on September 9, 2023, with a slogan-writing competition. This competition provided students with an opportunity to express their views and ideas on fighting corruption through impactful slogans.
The main objective behind organizing these programs was to spread awareness among the youth and acquaint them with the functioning of the governance system. The entire initiative was orchestrated by a dedicated committee comprising Prof. Shikha Bhasin, Prof. Vijay Kumar, Dr. Preeti Rachna, and Prof. Mridul Mahajan.
