| 50 bottles of illicit liquor recovered by Jourian Police | | |

Jourian, Mar 2: An information was received at PP Jourian regarding one bootlegger selling illicit liquor at Dhanger Kaleeth in the area under the jurisdiction of PP Jourian.
After this special police teams of PP Jourian led by SHO PS Akhnoor assisted by I/C PP Jourian laid a special naka at Dhanger Kaleeth area and rounded up a suspected person. During search, 50 bottles of 180 ml illicit liquor got recovered from his possession.
In this regard, Case FIR U/s 48a, 48f Excise Act got registered at PS Akhnoor and accused person got arrested. The accused person was later identified as :- Desh Bandhu S/o Madam Lal R/o Dhanger Kaleeth Tehsil Khour.
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
