Businessman and Social Activist Vijay Saraf meets with LG at Raj Bhawan

JAMMU, Mar 2: Yesterday, Vijay Saraf, a distinguished figure in the business and social spheres of Jammu, paid a visit to Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan. During the meeting, Saraf expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor for his enrollment as a patron to the Indian Red Cross Society by the esteemed President of India.
In a gesture of admiration and appreciation, Saraf congratulated Lieutenant Governor Sinha for his unwavering dedication in addressing the various issues plaguing Jammu society. He commended Sinha for his visionary approach aimed at transforming Jammu into a world-class city. Vijay Saraf, known for his philanthropic endeavors, assured the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of his steadfast commitment towards the betterment of society. He pledged to offer his full dedication and support towards the development initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of the people of Jammu.
It is noteworthy that Saraf was recently conferred with the prestigious Doctorate of Humanity degree by the American University for Global Peace, USA (UNUGP) Inc., in recognition of his contributions to global peace.
Vijay Saraf boasts a multifaceted involvement in various business, sports, and social associations. Notable among his affiliations are his roles as the ex-Secretary of Amar Singh Club, Jammu, advisory committee member of the Olympic Association Jammu, and ethics committee member of the Government Dental College Jammu. He also holds life membership in the Red Cross Society, Jammu, and has served in positions such as the Secretary of the Wushu Federation of India and President of the J&K Wushu Association. Additionally, he has contributed as an ex-member of the Dharmarth Trust, Jammu, and as a nominated executive member of the Chamber of Commerce, Jammu, among other notable positions.
Vijay Saraf's extensive involvement extends beyond his organizational affiliations; he is also recognized as a visiting speaker and participant at numerous national and state platforms. Furthermore, Saraf is acknowledged as an ace golfer within the Jammu community. Saraf's commitment to social welfare and his active participation in various spheres continue to inspire and uplift the community, reflecting his unwavering dedication towards societal progress and development.
