Jammu, Mar 9: In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation and camaraderie, the Department of Youth Services & Sports, District Jammu (Zone R S Pura), organized two significant events to honor distinguished individuals transitioning within their roles.
Firstly, a farewell party was tendered to bid adieu to the esteemed outgoing District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSO) Jammu, Sh. Sukhdev Raj. Sh. Sukhdev Raj, who recently assumed responsibilities at Rajouri, was warmly acknowledged for his dedicated service and contributions to the department.
Concurrently, a warm welcome party was extended to greet the newly appointed DYSO Jammu, Sh. Kharati Lal, who recently commenced his tenure in the Jammu District.
The event served as an opportunity to acquaint Sh. Kharati Lal with the team and ethos of the department, fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual support.
The gatherings were graced by the presence of the In-Charge Zonal Physical Education Officer, R S Pura, along with all the dedicated field staff of Zone R S Pura. Expressions of gratitude and best wishes were shared, symbolizing the bond of camaraderie and respect among colleagues.
During their respective speeches, both officers emphasized the paramount importance of upcoming activities within the department. They urged the team to strive towards enhancing student participation in games and sports, emphasizing the holistic benefits of physical fitness and mental well-being.
