DDC Suresh Sharma held Janata Darbar, listened to grievances of the people

Akhnoor, Mar 9: BJP senior leader and District Development Council member Pandit Suresh Sharma held a Janata Darbar with administrative officials in Panchayat Maira Mandrain, Nardi, Barui Kandi of Block Maira Mandrain of Chhamb Assembly constituency and listened to the problems of the people in this Janta Darbar. People from four Panchayats had reached the public darbar and highlighted the problems being faced by them in their respective areas. Pandit Suresh Sharma listened to all the problems with patience and asked the administrative officers present there to solve them immediately and some problems were solved on the spot.
Addressing the people, Pandit Suresh Sharma said that development work is being done at a fast pace in Block Maira Mandrian and Chowki Choura. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, one new tubewell will be constructed in Panchayat Barui and two in Panchayat Maira Mandrain. Work is going on a tubewell in Panchayat Nardi, another tubewell will be constructed in the coming days. Old pipes are being replaced and those houses which do not have taps will be provided this facility. Efforts are also on to connect every village and locality with a pucca road. The work of making pucca roads is going on continuously in all the panchayats. Work will be started on many more new roads in the coming days. New transformers have been installed in the villages, where there was low voltage problem and some will be installed in the coming days. Pandit Suresh Sharma said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many welfare schemes are being run all over India today. 80 crore people across the country are getting free ration. Under Ayushman Bharat scheme, crores of people of the country are getting free health treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. Today, free treatment is being provided in even the biggest hospitals. Under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Awas Yojana, crores of pucca houses have been built across the country. Mega products like AIIMS, IIT, IIM, Jammu Poonch National Highway work is also going on at a fast pace. Our efforts are continuing day and night for the betterment and progress of the area. In this Janata Darbar, Block Development Officer Tahir Hafiz, Tehsildar Afsa Afreen, BMO Dr. Tasleem Khan, AEE PDD Shankar Singh Manhas, AEE (R&B) Sunil Kumar, AEO Yogesh Mehta, Ex Sarpanch Tarlochan Dutt, Milkhi Ram, Officials from various departments, people of the three Panchayats and other dignitaries were present.
