| Food office gutted in Uri blaze | | |

Srinagar, Mar 10: A Food Civil Services & Consumer Affairs department office was gutted in a fire mishap in the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
Official sources said that an FCS&CA office building situated at Main town caught fire last night, razing the structure to ashes.
“The structure comprised the office of Tehsil Supply Office and one another room,” they said. “The fire was controlled after hours of hectic efforts by firefighters and locals,” said the sources adding, “Fortunately the office records were saved in the incident.” The cause of the fire in the meantime is yet to ascertained.
