Srinagar, Mar 23: After two days of rain and light snow over the upper reaches, the weather improved in Kashmir on Saturday. "The weather is likely to remain generally dry till Tuesday," an official of the Meteorological (MeT) department said. Widespread rains were recorded across Jammu and Kashmir from Thursday evening till Friday afternoon. The upper reaches, including ski resort Gulmarg, received snowfall during the wet phase. Meanwhile, except for the two tourist resorts of Gulmarg and Pahalgam, the night temperature settled above sub-zero in all weather stations across Kashmir. MeT said Srinagar had 6.5, Pahalgam minus 1.1, and Gulmarg minus 2.5 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. |
