Yog Sathapana Divas celebrated at Green Belt Park by Bhartiya Yog Sansthan

JAMMU, Apr 12: The Bahu Jila branch of Bhartiya Yog Sansthan commemorated the 58th Yog Sathapana Divas with fervor and enthusiasm at Green Belt Park on April 11, 2024. The celebration marked the establishment of the organization on April 10, 1967, drawing more than 50 yog sadhaks who actively participated in yog sadhna.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including K B Jandial, Retired IAS Officer and Former JDA Chairman, who served as the Chief Guest. Puran Chand Sharma, Vice President, CA Vinay Saraf, Prantiya Sadas, and Ravinder Kumar Pardhan, Bahu Jila, were also in attendance.
In his keynote address, Jandial emphasized the significance of yoga, highlighting its profound impact on physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. He commended the efforts of Bhartiya Yog Sansthan in promoting the practice of yoga and its cultural heritage.
Anupama Puri, Sanghthan Mantri, expressed gratitude in her vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of all participants and supporters.
Established on April 10, 1967, Bhartiya Yog Sansthan is a non-sectarian, social, cultural, and non-profit organization dedicated to upholding Bharatiya cultural heritage. It endeavors to protect and preserve this heritage, drawing inspiration from the lofty ideals of Bharatiya culture, such as 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam' (The Entire Universe Is Our Family) and 'Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu' (May All Beings Rejoice in Joy and Happiness). The organization promotes the philosophy of 'Live 'N' Liven,' advocating for service to humanity and the Almighty.
Bhartiya Yog Sansthan focuses on the principles of healthy living for happy living, following the teachings of Maharishi Patanjali. It aims to support individuals, especially those burdened with familial responsibilities, by providing them with tools and techniques for managing stress and leading a balanced life.
Through its commitment to yoga and cultural heritage, Bhartiya Yog Sansthan strives to foster holistic well-being and inspire individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
