REASI, Apr 20: Mobile theft has become a significant concern in our society, affecting individuals, families and businesses. The www.ceir.gov.in portal provides a centralized platform for Police and individuals to report stolen mobile devices directly to the CEIR Portal. Through this portal, victims of mobile theft can quickly and efficiently submit essential details like duplicate sim number, invoice copy, mobile missing report (from concerned Police Station) & identity proof and relevant details about the incident.
The CEIR portal is accessible to the public, empowering individuals to take proactive steps in safeguarding their mobile devices and represents a paradigm shift in policing methodologies, harnessing technology to promote efficiency, safety, and community engagement.
