| Govt College for Women, Bhagwati Nagar organizes Quiz Competition | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 24: Under flagship programme SVEEP "Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation', Govt. College for Women, Bhagwati Nagar organized Quiz Competition on the theme "Lok Sabha Election 2024" under the patronage of Dr. Meeru Abrol Principal of the College. A total of four teams namely Secular, Socialistic, Democratic and Republic participated in the quiz. Each team comprised of 3 participants from B.Com/B.A Sem. 2nd. The purpose of the quiz is to aware students regarding the election process and promote voters active participation in upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024. Quiz consists of four rounds. Students participated wholeheartedly and zeal and showed their enthusiasm as they are casting vote for the very first time. Team Democratic won the quiz with highest score of 70. The winning team comprised of Sania, Dhanvi Mehra and Palak students of B.Com/B.A Sem. 2nd. While addressing the students, Dr, Meeru Abrol Principal of the college congratulated the winner team and appreciated their efforts. She also interacted with the students and apprised them of significance of casting vote and power of a voter. The entire quiz was organized by Dr. Preeti Salathia Assistant Professor Department of Commerce and coordinated by Prof. Gagan Jyoti and Dr. Mosmi Raina. |
