Early Times Report SAMBA, Apr 24: In anticipation of the upcoming second phase of Parliamentary Elections-2024, a Flag March was organized today in Samba town by the Samba Police, in collaboration with CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) and Armed Police. The march aimed to reassure citizens and foster a sense of security and harmony, ensuring a conducive environment for fair and fearless elections. Led by SSP Samba Vinay Kumar-JKPS, the Flag March saw the active participation of DySP Hqrs Samba Dr. Bhishm Dubey, SHO PS Samba Inspr. Sandeep Charak, as well as officers and jawans from CAPF and Armed Police. Commencing from SIDCO Chowk Samba, the march proceeded through the main bazaar of Samba, old PS Samba road, Samba Fort, Hospital road, Vir Bhoomi Park, and concluded back at SIDCO Chowk Samba. The primary objective of the Flag March was to instill confidence among voters, assuring them of a secure and harmonious environment conducive to their participation in the electoral process without any apprehensions. This initiative underscores the commitment to upholding the principles of free and fair elections, ensuring that every citizen can exercise their democratic right to vote without fear or constraint.
