| Crackdown on illegal mining; 2 vehicles seized: Reasi police | | | Early Times Report
REASI, May 21: In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators, Reasi Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining & minting money out of the public resources.
In random checking, Police teams of Reasi Police inspected at different locations and seized 02 Vehicles engaged in illegal mining.
In a surprise operation which was carried out at different locations team of Police Station Ransoo seized a Tipper bearing registration numbers JK11D-4375 involved in transportation of illegal mining material.
In a separate incident team of Police post Shajroo laid surprise naka Purana Jandar Nalah road and seized a tractor trolley bearing registration no. JK14H-6820 involved in transportation of illegal mining material.
After Seizure of these Vehicles Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal action.
While giving the details SSP Reasi conveyed that Reasi Police is committed for protecting the public property and to eradicate the menace illegal mining in the area. |
