Modi Govt propelled J&K on path of unprecedented progress: Kavinder

CHANDIGARH, May 21: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister, Kavinder Gupta asserted that the Union Government led by PM Narendra Modi has propelled J&K on a path of unprecedented progress as the Union Territory witnessed colossal uplift on the social and economical fronts.
The former deputy Chief Minister was speaking during the meeting organized by J&K Dogra Sabha at Mahajan Hall, Sec 37, Chandigarh. BJP Lok Sabha candidate for Chandigarh constituency, Sanjay Tandon also joined the meeting.
During the programme, the Dogra Sabha members have felicitated Kavinder Gupta for his selfless contributions to the society.
Kavinder asserted that time has come when it could be claimed that the J&K UT has embarked on a voyage to achieve pinnacle of progress leaving behind the dark era of gloom and distress only because of the insightfulness of PM Modi, who envisaged the path on which the UT is traversing today. He said that new infrastructure projects, investment incentives, and socio-economic development programmes aimed at empowering local communities and boosting employment opportunities have played a crucial role in the progress which the region has achieved in the last few years after the significant move of making Article 370 null and void by the Modi Government. He also underscored the government's commitment to inclusive development, emphasizing efforts to address longstanding issues and bridge developmental gaps in the region.
Kavinder proudly declared that the incumbent BJP government is the best government since independence. He further emphasized that the BJP government's dedication to the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir speaks for itself through its tangible results and the trust it has garnered from the masses.
The former deputy Chief Minister urged the people of Dogra community residing in Chandigarh as well as the localities to support and vote BJP candidate Sanjay Tandon in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. He asserted that the BJP will undoubtedly form the next government at the Centre by winning more than 400 plus seats with an aim to make India a more prosperous and developed nation.
