Early Times Report JAMMU, May 22: Today, appreciation letters were distributed to 40 students from MHAC Nagbani, Model Higher Secondary School Domana, and International Cambridge, Purkhoo, for their participation in a wall painting competition on the topic of drug abuse held on April 12, 2024, at Police Station Domana. The event was graced by SP Rural Jammu, Brijesh Sharma, JKPS, and SHO Domana, Inspector Arun Sharma. In a special visit to these schools, SP Rural Jammu and SHO Domana distributed the appreciation letters in the presence of the teaching faculty and fellow students. They interacted with the students to promote Jammu Police's message of zero tolerance against drugs, urging the students to act as special messengers of the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) to spread the message that there is no space for drugs in our civilized society. SP Rural Jammu, Brijesh Sharma, praised the students, saying, "Your creativity and dedication to raising awareness about this important topic through your artistic talents are truly commendable. The vibrant and thought-provoking messages portrayed in your artwork have significantly contributed to the community's efforts in combating drug abuse and promoting a healthier, drug-free environment." The teaching faculty and students of these schools appreciated the efforts of the police in conducting such events, recognizing how they boost the morale of students and encourage active participation in social issues.
