Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 28: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) promised to expand its Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance scheme to cover all citizens. This was stated by BJP District President Jammu South Rekha Mahajan while distributing the "Ayushman health insurance cards," also known as golden cards, here at her residence/ office in response to the persistent request of the residents of Trikuta Nagar of Bahu Constituency in Jammu South. While distributing the ayushman golden cards to the common masses, Rekha Mahajan accompanied by District Secretary Jammu South Rohiin Chandan, Treasure Rajesh Gupta and others were present on the occasion. Rekha Mahajan asserted that all senior citizens over 70 and the transgender community will be brought under the ambit of the Center's health scheme, the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. She highlights that the BJP, under the banner of PM Modi, has been working tirelessly to ensure social development and social inclusion in a true sense for all segments of society.
Women's participation and contribution will be the focus of the next five years, according to Rekha Mahajan. The IT, travel, education, health, and retail industries will all train women. She promised that the BJP will begin implementing the manifesto's pledges as soon as the results of the June 4 elections are announced. Rekha also expressed confidence that the BJP will form the next government with more than 400 seats in the Lok Sabha.
The BJP leader added that the "Modi ki guarantee" is equivalent to 24-carat gold and has emerged as the gold standard of governance. Rekha Mahajan said in the last ten successful years, the Modi government had overhauled the country's health infrastructure from a primary to tertiary level while ensuring the provision of free treatment for up to ?5 lakh for the general public.
Rekha ensures that under the PM Modi-led government, nobody is left out, especially women, children, and the elderly; there is no cap on family size or age in the scheme.
The policy benefit coverage also included pre- and post-hospitalization expenses, and all pre-existing conditions were covered from day one. Rekha educates that a defined transport allowance per hospitalization is also paid to the beneficiary under the scheme. She said as India continues its journey towards becoming a global healthcare hub, the initiatives undertaken under Prime Minister Modi's leadership have laid the foundation for a healthier and more resilient nation. The commitment to health and well-being is reflected not only in policies but also in the endeavor to create a future where every citizen can access quality healthcare services, irrespective of their socio-economic status.
