| GDC Samba hosts Quiz Bhautik Vigyan | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 1: The Department of Physics of SPPND GDC, Samba organized a thrilling and intellectually stimulating quiz competition under the aegis of IQAC on Bhautik Vigyan. The event brought together four enthusiastic groups namely team Bhabha, team Raman, team Bose and team Bhatnagar, each comprising of three members, who showcased their knowledge and teamwork. The quiz was aimed to involve students in quick thinking in a competitive and friendly atmosphere and after a fierce battle of wit, Team Bose was declared the winning team. Earlier Prof. Narayan Dutt, H.O.D Physics formally welcomed the Principal, faculty and the students. He briefed about the aim of the quiz which was to celebrate not only knowledge but also to encourage team work and camaraderie among the students.
The Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Twinkle Suri, extolled the efforts of the students and said that it was an enriching experience for the audience thereby providing ample scope of learning and exploration of new idea and facts for the participants.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Dr. Sheetal and Dr. Asha. Prof. Renu Rajput presented vote of thanks. The program concluded with the felicitation to winners with gifts and certificates of merit. |
