SSP Kishtwar conducts security review/briefings session | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, June 1: In preparation for the forthcoming Yatras and festivities, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishtwar Abdul Qayoom-JKPS held comprehensive security briefings with key officials at the District Police Lines (DPL) Kishtwar today. The briefing sessions included interactions with the In-Charge of the Special Operations Group (IC SOG) camp and the In-Charge of the Special Police Picket(IC SPP). These meetings focused on the meticulous planning and implementation of security measures to ensure a peaceful and orderly environment during these critical events. During the briefings, SSP Kishtwar addressed several critical issues, including militancy, bovine smuggling, drug peddling, timber smuggling, and other criminal activities. The SSP emphasized the need for heightened vigilance and proactive measures to counter these threats effectively.
