Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre Organizes Free Neurology Camp

Jammu, June 1: The Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre in Udheywala, Jammu, successfully organized a one-day free neurology camp on June 1, 2024. The camp featured Dr. Sushil Razdan, a highly renowned neurologist from Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Rajni Razdan, a gynecologist, and Dr. K.K. Pandita, a physician.
This health camp provided a comprehensive range of free medical services, including consultations with specialists in neurology, orthopedics, gynecology, dental surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, allopathy, Ayurveda, and physiotherapy. A total of 437 patients benefited from the expertise of 15 doctors at the camp.
In addition to free consultations, the camp offered complimentary check-ups for blood sugar, HbA1c, and blood pressure. A full body check-up covering 65 parameters, including CBC, LFT, KFT, lipid profile, BSF, urine tests, and thyroid function tests (T3, T4, TSH), was available for a nominal fee of Rs. 700, significantly discounted from the usual price of Rs. 1400.
The camp also facilitated 62 FibroScan tests for liver assessment, 80 free blood sugar tests, and distributed free medicines to patients.
This initiative is part of the Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre’s ongoing commitment to serving the community and providing accessible healthcare services to all. Distinguished guests, including Shri Arun Manhas, JKAS, Director of Industry and Commerce, and Anusuya Jamwal, ADC, Jammu, graced the event with their presence.
Shri Arun Manhas commended the Centre’s efforts in alignment with Swami Vivekananda’s vision and urged public support for such humanitarian initiatives. Anusuya Jamwal praised the Mission’s commendable work and encouraged local citizens to make the most of these medical services.
Swami Yajnadharananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu, highlighted the organization’s commitment to the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna Dev, Maa Sarada, and Swami Vivekananda, emphasizing service to humanity as a form of divine worship. He also announced plans to organize similar free camps monthly.
