| Narcotic smuggling bid foiled, one held with 200 grams Charas | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, June 4: Cracking down heavily on Narcotics smuggling under Operation Sanjeevani Jammu and Kashmir Police in District Ramban Police under the overall supervision of SSP Ramban Shri Anuj Kumar IPS, foiled a Narcotics smuggling bid at Ward No1 Ramban and arrested one person with Charas like Substance.
A police party of Police Station Ramban on specific input stopped one pedestrian at Ward No.1 Ramban. On questioning the pedestrian disclosed his identity as Irshad Ahmed son of Abdual Salam resident of Ward no 1Ramban Tehsil & District Ramban.
During the process of checking Charas like Substance approximately 200 gms was recovered from his possession.
A case FIR No 127/2024 under relevant provisions of NDPS Act registered at PS Ramban.
The accused person has been arrested and contraband seized, investigation of the case going on to prove backward and forward linkages. |
