| School of social sciences Cluster University of Jammu celebrates Environment day | | |

Jammu, June 5: School of Social Sciences, Cluster University of Jammu celebrated World Environment Day in collaboration with Department of Soil & Water Conservation (Forest), J&K, Jammu by conducting plantation drive in the premises of School of Social Sciences on 5 June, 2024. Dean, SOSS, CLUJ - Dr.Vishal Sharma, Co-ordinator, Dept. of Commerce -Dr. Neetu Kumari with faculty of School and students planted trees of diverse variety on the occasion. Dr.Vishal shared the significance of the day with the students and the faculty of the school.
The day is celebrated to convey an important message to the younger generations towards their responsibilities to save the environment and also threw light on the changing climate and its impact on human society and cultural diversity, biodiversity and ecosystem. Dr. Roshi Charak(Organizing Secretary))inspired the students to continue the plantation drive in the future for the welfare of the society and Climate. Total 50 students of SOSS,CLUJ joined this plantation drive. |
