Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 12: Uday Bhanu Chib, National IYC General Secretary and former Youth Congress President of Jammu and Kashmir, along with Hari Singh Chib, Vice President of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), have called for widespread support of general public for the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. They emphasized that the present administration has failed to provide basic amenities and has not met the expectations of the general public.
During a series of Nukkad Meetings held at Keran Ward No. 63 of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and Patian of Panchayat Keran in the Jammu North Assembly Segment, Uday Bhanu Chib and Hari Singh Chib rallied Congress workers and people of the area, urging them to ensure the victory of the Congress party in the ensuing Assembly elections for a prosperous future. The meetings were also attended by Som Nath Sharma, former Block President of Pata Paloura.
At Patian, the meeting was organized by Harbans Lal, while in Keran Ward No. 63, the arrangements were made by Pritam Singh and Ashok Sharma. The gathering in Keran was notably addressed by Keran Wala Baba, a revered figure with a significant following in both Jammu and Punjab, further bolstering the event's impact.
Speaking at the meetings, Uday Bhanu Chib criticized the present dispensation, stating, "The present administration has failed to provide even the most basic amenities to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The proxy Government of BJP in J&K has miserably failed to live up to the expectations of the general public. It's time for a change, and we need the support of every citizen to bring about that change."
Hari Singh Chib emphasized the importance of collective effort, "We appeal to all our workers and supporters to come together and work tirelessly to ensure the Congress party's victory in the upcoming Assembly elections. Together, we can build a brighter and more prosperous future for Jammu and Kashmir."
Prominent among those who were present in the meetings included Parshotam Singh, Madan Singh, Ahok Sharma, Pappu, Kailash, Fakir Chand, Neeta, Surinder Kumar, Pummy, Jung Bahadur Singh, Kaka Ram, and others.
