6/12/2024 10:14:42 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 12: Senior BJP leader Mr Devender Singh Rana today strongly condemned one after another terror attacks in Reasi, Hiranagar and Doda in the Jammu region perpetrated by the rogue nation Pakistan, and described these barbarous acts as serious threat to national security.
"Unnerved and frustrated over peace and normalcy returning in Jammu and Kashmir with people overwhelmingly participating in the just concluded elections to the Lok Sabha in all the five constituencies of the Union Territory, Pakistan and its notorious terror regime has resorted to violence", Mr Rana said in a post X.
He said the people of Jammu and Kashmir are resolute enough to foil all machinations of Pakistan and its sponsored terrorists. The Security Forces are effectively working on the ground and succeeded hugely in bringing terrorism to its last legs. The day is not far when the residual terrorists and its ecosystem will be annihilated completely across the Union Territory, he added.
Devender Rana said the bold and effective leadership in Delhi has proved over the past ten years that it has the will and ability to fight the menace of terrorism with its uncompromising zero tolerance policy towards terrorism , Terrorists ,their perpetrators , over ground workers and sympathisers cannot get away for their inhuman acts against the civilized and peaceful society. He said the peace dawning across the Union Territory has become eyesore for all those furthering their interests on graveyards but the people are going to give them a befitting reply.
"We all, irrespective of religion ,region caste or creed want peace in Jammu and Kashmir and have a high stake in normalcy", Mr Devender Rana said, adding that near normalcy in the past five years have led to resurgent, transformed and buoyant J&K.
"Let us all who belong to J&K unitedly rise to the occasion and together fight the menace of terrorism provide all support to the Security Forces and the Administration to fight this menace of terrorism unleashed by the enemy neighbour", Rana said, adding that the nation salutes the martyred soldier, who attained martyrdom today in the line of his duty.
Rana also expressed his solidarity with the families of pilgrims who lost their lives in the Reasi terror attack. He prayed for speedy recovery of the injured. He said the entire nation is sharing the pain and agony of bereaved families.
