RS PURA, June 13: The NSS Unit of GDC RS Pura, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Economics, organized a one-day awareness program focusing on financial planning. The event featured a lecture by Amit Sharma, Regional Manager of the Learning and Development Department at PNB MetLife. Sharma's insightful discussion covered critical aspects of financial security, creating a corpus for child education, retirement planning, and tax planning. His expertise provided attendees with valuable knowledge on managing their finances effectively. The program was honored by the presence of Dr. Rajni Bhagat, Principal of GDC RS Pura, who emphasized the significance of financial literacy programs in enabling individuals to make informed decisions about their financial futures. Dr. Chanchal Angral, NSS Programme Officer, formally welcomed the guests and introduced the session. Dr. Jugal Kishore, Head of the Department of Mathematics, presented the formal vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of all involved in making the event successful. Dr. Shivani Manchanda, Head of the Department of Economics, also played a crucial role in organizing the program. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Dr. Neena Gupta, Dr. Shifali Abrol, Dr. Raj Kumari, Dr. Swatantra Kaur, Dr. Sudesh Kumar, Dr. Neeru Sawhney, and Dr. Priya Darshini, alongside the faculty members of GDC RS Pura.
