Govt Polytechnic for Women, Jammu secures major placement success

JAMMU, June 14: Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Jammu celebrated a significant milestone today as more than 70% of its final semester students (10 out of 13) from the 3-Year Diploma in Office Management & Computer Applications (OM&CA) secured placements with M/S A. M. Hyundai, Jammu. The students, who were undergoing internships at the company, impressed the management with their performance, leading to job offers at the company's Head Office and Peripheral offices across the Jammu Division in roles such as Tele Calling, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and related fields.
In a ceremony held in the institution's Conference Hall, the offer letters were handed over by Aman Gupta, Vice President After Sales, in the presence of Er. Suket Gupta, Principal, Er. Kamal Kumar, In-charge Training and Placement Officer (TPO), and other faculty members.
Er. Suket Gupta, Principal of the institution, expressed his gratitude to M/S A.M. Hyundai for partnering with the institution, providing apprenticeship support, and offering placements to the students. He emphasized the importance of such collaborations in enhancing the career prospects of students.
Er. Naresh Gupta, Head of the Electronics and Communication (E&C) Department, advised the outgoing students to maximize the opportunities presented to them and wished them success in their future careers. Seema Pandita, Lecturer-I OM&CA, and Er. Neeraj Pandita, representative from A.M. Hyundai, were also present at the event.
This achievement highlights the institution's commitment to providing quality education and facilitating valuable industry connections to ensure the professional success of its students.
