"The promise of assembly polls and statehood is a testament to the government's resolve to empower the people and ensure democratic governance in the region", he said adding that the abrogation of Article 370, the introduction of progressive policies, and the implementation of development projects have brought unprecedented growth and stability in J&K. He said in past also, BJP had run and relied on the democratic processes and now again it is committed to hold Assembly polls. He said that in total, the Modi Government has held 13 elections successfully with maiden run of ULB and Panchayat polls in a flawless manner.
The former deputy Chief Minister said that PM Modi has a special space in his heart for Jammu and Kashmir and that is the reason behind selecting Srinagar to lead the International yoga Day celebrations. He noted that this decision underlined the Prime Minister's commitment to Kashmir's cultural and spiritual heritage, enhancing its global visibility.
Regarding PM Modi's upcoming visit to Jammu and Kashmir, Kavinder highlighted its potential to uplift the morale of the party cadre significantly.
