RAMBAN, June 25: The District AYUSH Office Ramban, under the leadership of District Nodal Officer for Yoga, Dr. Masood Zargar, conducted a comprehensive medical camp and facilitated the distribution of essential medicines at the Child Care Institutes for Girls and Boys (Parisha, Palash, and Phulwari) in Ramban. This initiative was aimed at improving the health and well-being of the children residing in these institutions. The medical camp provided a range of healthcare services, including general health check-ups, consultations with medical professionals, and distribution of medicines for common ailments. Preventive health education was also a key component of the camp, with sessions focusing on hygiene, nutrition, and wellness practices. Dr. Masood Zargar and Dr Shokat Mir emphasized the importance of such initiatives, stating, “Our goal is to ensure that every child in these institutions has access to quality healthcare. By organizing Balloon activities for mental health to promote a healthier future for these children and address any immediate health concerns they might have.” Mahenoor Salam, Superintendent of the Children’s Home for Girls (Parisha) in Ramban, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the AYUSH Department for their dedication and support. “We are immensely thankful to the AYUSH office and Dr. Zargar for their efforts. The medical camp has made a significant positive impact on the health of our children, and we deeply appreciate the resources and care provided,” she said.
