6/25/2024 11:09:15 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, June 25th: Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) Jammu, has strongly criticized the incumbent government, accusing it of failing on all fronts. He highlighted the plight of the youth, stating that despite being the future of the nation, they have been severely affected under the present regime.
The senior NC leader was speaking during the joining programme held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan wherein Gurmeet Singh, BJP State Secretary Minority Morcha, along with his supporters, joined the party fold in the presence of Rattan Lal Gupta and other NC leaders. The joining programme was organized by Sardar Tejinder Pal Singh (Aman), District President Jammu Urban YNC. Those who joined the party fold included Ajay Kumar, Sachin Kumar, Ashwani Bhagat, Aditya, Gagan Attri and others. Addressing the party workers, Rattan Lal Gupta expressed concerns over rising unemployment and various scandals, including recruitment scams, the NEET scam, and the cancellation of UGC exams, which have left the youth disillusioned. He said that the BJP government at the Centre is playing with the futures of our young generation. He emphasized the urgent necessity of identifying and holding accountable those responsible for jeopardizing the future of our youth by manipulating such crucial examinations.
Rattan Lal Gupta sought a foolproof policy to safeguard the integrity and transparency of prestigious examinations like NEET. He stressed that such measures are imperative to ensure that the aspirations of our youth, who represent the future of our nation, are not compromised under any circumstances. He said youth is the backbone of the party and the present situation is a matter of serious concern as the government has no policy for the youth, resulting in peak unemployment across the country.
He called for transparent and fair recruitment processes, more investment in education and skill development, and the implementation of policies that would create job opportunities for the youth.
Seeking support for ensuing Assembly polls, the Provincial President assured the youth of Jammu and Kashmir that if the National Conference is voted to power, it will bring youth-friendly policies that prioritize their education, employment, creation of ample job opportunities through strategic investments and partnerships, strict measures to combat scams in recruitments and support for entrepreneurial ventures by providing financial aid and training.
“Our vision is to empower the youth, to give them the tools and opportunities they need to lead successful and fulfilling lives, he said, adding that the National Conference believes in the power of our young generation and is dedicated to shaping a prosperous future for Jammu and Kashmir with their active participation and leadership.”
Rattan Lal Gupta also welcomed the newly joined members and hoped that their joining will strengthen the base of the Party. He encouraged the new members to actively participate in Party activities and contribute their skills and knowledge to the collective efforts.
Tejinder Pal Singh asked the party cadre to get united for upcoming polls and teach BJP a lesson for its misgovernance bringing miseries to the people.
Those who were present include Shahmim Begun DDC Dansal, Kuldeep Sharma, S.Gurnam Singh Block President Jammu West, Nitish Gowsami Provincial Secretary YNC, Sahil Kerni District Secretary Jammu Urban YNC, Yasir Ahsan District Vice President, Sahil Singh Chib District Secretary Jammu Rural “A” YNC, Akbir Singh, Amit Sharma Joint Secretary, Tejpal Singh Ward President 58, Gourav Bhagat Ward President Ward No 33 and others.
