| GDC Ramnagar observed International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking | | | Early Times Report
RAMNAGAR, June 26: NCC Unit and NCORD Cell of GDC Ramnagar Observed International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking under the guidance of Prof. (Dr) Bhavnaish Chand (Principal GDC Ramnagar). There were two sessions in the event. In the first session a pledge was taken against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking to raise awareness and consciousness of students and staff against drug abuse. In the second session an interactive session and symposium were organized.
The interaction session begins by keynote address by the worthy Principal of the college, which was followed by the thought provoking lectures by Dr. Pankaj Sharma (HoD English), Dr. Sham Singh (Convenor NCORD) and Dr. Puyesh Kant Sharma (CTO NCC). Later on a symposium was organized where NCC Cadets Sumit Singh, Abhi Sharma and Rohit Kumar Verma participated and shared their views and experiences, Besides, Nigam Sharma student of semester 5th also participated in the symposium. In the end the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Sunil Kumar (HoD Dogri).
