Reasi, June 26: Under the directions of SSP Reasi, Ms. Mohita Sharma-IPS, the District Police Reasi observed the "International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking" with great fervor across the district. As part of the observance, lectures on drug abuse were organized in various schools to educate students about the dangers of drug use. In recent visit to Distt Reasi DGP J&K Sh. R.R. Swain - IPS and ADGP Jammu, Sh. Anand Jain-IPS, released a Dogri song titled “NASHA KADE NI KARNA,” focusing on the theme of drug abuse. The song was played in schools where students and teachers watched it, aimed at raising awareness about the perils of drug use. The song's primary motive is to create awareness among the youth and the community to stay away from drugs. Senior Police Officers of the district participated in the lectures organized in various schools. During these sessions, teachers were advised to closely monitor their students' behavior and avoid putting any psychological pressure on them, which could drive them towards drug use. |
