Early Times Report JAMMU, June 30: A four day stimulating Teachers' Training Session marked the beginning of the second term at Pinegrove School from June 26th to 29th, 2024 that ensured that all the staff members were back in tandem with the ethos of the school. Strong Pastoral Care, Proper Health and Hygiene on Campus, Monitoring of Discipline and Diligence in the Duties of a Matron took the forefront while a good understanding of the School Code of Conduct, School Ethos and thoughtful Pedagogical Planning formed core elements of the training sessions. With the Pinegrove community's commendable and consistent efforts as a Green School applauded, Ankit Kapoor with his team from Go Sharpener discussed various measures to provide more opportunities, awards and recognition to action-oriented students as they join communities, taking Sustainable Development to the next level. An insightful seminar on "Dealing with Adolescents and the POCSO Act" was conducted by Dr. Ruby Ahuja for BSAI and CBSE Hubs of Learning schools whilst CBSE Resource persons, Roopa Khatri and Nikhil Sharma, conducted an informative Capacity Building Programme on Cyber Safety and Security. The training concluded with a powerful workshop on Experiential Learning by the team from Paper Crane Labs. The Executive Director, Capt AJ Singh, motivated and encouraged the Grovian staff in his address with a call to carry out the laid-down aims and targets of the new term with happiness, understanding, sincerity and consistency. |
